On My Bicol Adventure 3: Mac's Home

I would always tease Mac that he is "Heir" to the "Abaca Slippers Empire". Mamalola and Papalolo's primary source of income is this. Awesome, right? Check out the raw materials of those beautiful abaca slippers that you buy from Divisoria or Baguio or pretty much everywhere where Filipino crafts are sold.

Mamalola made one for me ON THE SPOT! Suh-weet!!!

Now this is Crella with Mamalola. She's Mac's adorable cousin. I did a mini photo shoot with her...

Here's Crella with Papalolo!
And then... the cutie pie arrives... little Faustine, who was also, ready for the camera. Let's do this!

On My Bicol Adventure 2: Our Lady of Penafrancia Basilica & National Shrine

You'll see this on your way back to Legaspi from CWC. A church with a wow factor. See for yourself...

The Confession Box...

The main entrance...

Yes, I posed like a 'model'. So sue me. The doors were just so beautiful! (Cuz, the shorts!)

Mamalola, surely praying for Papalolo's speedy recovery.

Wonder what Sweets was praying for...

We stopped for watermelons along the road.

On My Bicol Adventure 1: CWC

As owner of an events management company, I continuously have to update myself on the best and newest venues, and visiting Bicol meant, I can check out CWC in Camarines Sur.

We contracted our cab driver (the one we took from the airport to Mac's lola's house) to bring us there. It was a good 2-hour drive from Legaspi. Cost was Php2,500.00. Driver will already wait for you while you do the day tour.

The main place, where the wakeboarding area is located, is still way inside the whole CWC lot. Once you enter CWC, you will be welcomed by... tons and tons of foreigners. Hahaha! So anyway, the front desk has a big board that runs down the amenities and the corresponding rates. There's a pool, massage huts and cottages.

There's an ATM machine just in case you forgot to bring cash (or you need extra).

Mac and Mamalola ate beef balls while I chomped down some hacao. Yummy! They also have a "Cook Your Pasta" booth, where you choose the type of pasta noodles, sauce and ingredients. Mac's choice was the yummiest. Order the one with just olive oil, then add bacon bits and shrimp. Forget about my arrabiata. It wasn't spectacular, unfortunately.

Since I wasn't that into swimming, we just decided to eat and hang out for a while. While walking around the venue, I saw that there was a skateboarding area and a beach area with big inflatable modules.

No wonder the Iron Man event was held here. The place is huge!

Anyway, after about three hours, we decided to head back to Legaspi. Oh, check out this photo I took of a mom and her son. Bye, CWC!
